We are seeking a Hyperion Administrator/Super-user who will be responsible for the day to day activities associated with maintaining the Hyperion production environment, including user support and metadata maintenance.  This position interacts with all levels of the accounting organization including corporate accounting and divisional accounting.

Boston Area Training & Development Organization Seeks Leadership for the Next Generation 

Searching for an Executive Director who will guide the organization to new levels.

Established in 1975 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)corporation whose purpose has been to deepen people’s understanding of and empowerment in all the social systems of their lives – whether in the family, school, organization, community, or as citizens of the world.

The organization has pursued its mission in the U.S. and in several other countries through high-impact programs, books, publications, and other media. Through its efforts, the organization has transformed people’s experiences of themselves in the context of social system life in ways that have liberated them personally while intensifying the quality of their contributions to their organizations, institutions, and communities.

With this success and financial stability, it is now time for new leadership and growth of this dynamic organization.

The future. The organization is positioned for explosive growth. To this point it has merely scratched the surface of its potential considering that its programs and publications have universal application. Its fee for service business has considerable room for growth. The organization also wants to extend its services further into the non-profit sector, particularly schools, colleges, and community groups. We also seek to expand our grant-supported activities.  

The organization is searching for an executive director who is committed to the mission of the organization and who has the drive, experience, knowledge and skills to guide it into this promising future.  

 Job responsibilities/challenges:

1. to grow the organization, building on the founders’ mission; to expand its global reach through programs, publications, consultation services, internet and other media. 

2. to develop a 3-5 year strategic plan for board of director approval aimed at:  

      a. increasing the spread of current offerings: programs and publications.

            b.  developing new programs and services

            c.   developing a global marketing plan

            d.  creating a sound financial/budgeting process.

            e.  acquiring grant support

3.  to develop a 12-18 month operational plan complete with developmental activities for board approval

4.  to execute on the 12-18 month plan

5.  to establish the infrastructures (office, staffing, processes and procedures) that will support all of the above.

Requirements:

. Sense of humor

. The ability to reach out to the various constituents – the trainer network, existing and potential clients, and granting agencies.

. Terminal degree in the candidate’s field or commensurate experience.

. Five plus years experience running a not-for-profit and/or private business of relevance.

. A track record in growing an organization.

. Prior demonstrated innovation: thinking and implementing “out of the box” but within budget.

. Pluses:

.. Prior organization development experience is a plus.

.. Prior experience as a fee-for-service consultant within a firm of many consultants in any field, or experience as a franchisee or franchisor would also be a plus.

..Ability to lead workshops and seminars is not necessary, but experience recruiting and deploying those that do would also be a plus.

Location: Work from Home, with 70% travel nationally 

Anticipated Salary Range: base plus commission – realistic 1st year earning around $160K (no cap)

 

Summary: The candidate will be responsible for visiting prospects and converting them into clients.  Leads will be generated primarily through participation in various conferences and trade shows, though other marketing channels will also support lead development.   

The role calls for major travel within the United States (70%) and occasionally to China. 

Primary Responsibilities:

The candidate will need to:  

• qualify a prospect’s attractiveness as a potential client

• qualify the prospect’s outsourcing requirements

• articulate the value proposition for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)

• win a commitment to run a one-month pilot project

• negotiate contract terms to convert the pilot into a client

• maintain the relationship and troubleshoot issues that may arise 

Specifically, the candidate will: 

• Travel to prospect offices to conduct sales presentations

• Attend conferences and trade shows to generate new leads

• Work in coordination with various marketing channels to develop new and existing leads

• Follow up with prospective clients to close sales

• Negotiate contract details with clients

• Help to develop standardized sales methodologies

• Gather customer feedback to improve product offering, sales materials and messaging

• Discuss contract renewal terms with clients

• Work closely with other departments to assure smooth client on-boarding

• Assure information on pipeline prospects and clients is well maintained in contact management system

• Work with team members to develop sales strategy and pricing for new services

• Conduct competitive analysis to refine messaging and sales presentation 

Key Requirements: 

• Bachelors or Masters Degree (MBA preferred)

• 5+ years proven experience in sales and client development

• Knowledge of insurance and/or BPO industries

• Top tier communications skills: written and verbal

General Purpose
• Responsibility for the Regional provision of workplace service delivery and space
management including, team leadership, strategy development, supply chain and financial
management, and operational delivery.
• A member of the WR Regional Management team; directing all matters relating to

Main Responsibility Area
• Co-chair of Regional WR Management Team; integration of all WR functional teams

• Leadership, motivation and development of WM personnel and organization; including

• Management of service levels and delivery against cost, while setting and meeting

• Operational management of service delivery and space management; including

• Works closely with Regional RE team
• Co-chair the Regional WR Management team
• Holds responsibility for end-user satisfaction within the Region
• Works with BC to produce STP, and is responsible for regional performance against
STP/LE. Owner of the Regional cost centre.
• Team leadership, including line management responsibility for WM team, and IIP/PDP
planning for individual team members

• 10 years experience gained through progression within the Facilities Management or
Hospitality industries
• Management experience of space planning, facilities service delivery, customer service
management, and collaborator performance & relationship management, for large
campuses and complex budgets
• Skills in negotiation, influencing and working within a matrix organization.
• Business maturity to deal with complex management issues and conflicting priorities,
and to quickly develop trusted stakeholders relationships.
• Understanding of Corporate Real Estate portfolio management and large scale project

 Company Overview:

Our client, a privately held company based in the Hartford, CT area distributes a wide array of products in the metal industry. My client is offering an exciting opportunity for a strong business professional to become a senior partner of this growing and changing company as the new President.  The current President is being promoted to a newly created Chief Operating Officer role in corporate.  This location employs 70, 40 outside sales and 30 in administrative/management functions.  The approximate sales for the US operation are 20-25 MM with average annual growth around 10-15%.  Their products are sold through selective distribution. 

Role Defined:

 As President, the growth and profitability of the business is your primary focus, while maintaining the highest standards of ethics, products and service.  Your deeply committed views of training and team orientation will be a driving force in moving the business forward.  Your personal satisfaction of others being successful is the greatest measure of your personal success.

Responsibilities:

 Overall Sales Management (approximately 70% of the time)

?         Maintain and build the sales team.

?         Support Product & Sales Training for Sales Consultants.

?         Formulate goals and sales budgets.

?         Monitor goals and coach to ensure success in reaching targets.

?         Report on US sales results.

?         50% domestic travel to customers.

?         Set goals for annual domestic sales meeting in December.

?         Need to have tangible product sales experience in the area of Metal forming/ Metal fabrication industry.
